Students have the option of purchasing an off-campus meal plan from their university, or a meal plan from Granville Hall. Please review your university's website for info about meal plan options for off-campus students.

Granville Hall's meal plan is provided by Rudy's Cafe (rudyscatering.ca), located next to Granville Hall at 1681 Granville Street. Rudy's is a small family operated business that has been serving downtown Halifax since 1983. Please visit Rudy's website for a look at their menu and hours of operation. 

The plan provides 14 meals per week (two meals per day) and doesn't include drinks. You can choose anything from the regular menu, or enjoy one of Rudy and Maria's delicious hot lunch specials, which rotate daily (follow their Facebook page for lunch specials of the day).

Meals can be consumed at the cafe or taken to-go. Students can pickup one or both of their daily meals at the cafe during operating hours. Meals can also be picked up in advance for days/times when Rudy's Cafe is closed. 

You can purchase a Granville Hall meal plan for multiple months, or one month at a time. The plan begins on the first day of the calendar month. The fee is not pro-rated if you begin your plan on a later date than the first of the month, and meals that have been missed do not carry forward. Any unused meals at the end of a month don't carry over into the next month, and meals can not be transferred to or used by another student.

If a student cancels a meal plan after a calendar month has started, the meal plan fee for that month will not be refunded in part or in whole. However, any balance remaining on account for future months will be returned to the student.
